3 movies in one week, I've maintained my record. See, I'm that free and of cos broke, now.

Was at Marina South for the fireworks display by the French team with the humongous Carl's Jr combo. It would definitely taste better if we had taken it while it's hot. What can I say? The French are indeed romantic haha. That's what I feel from the fireworks display. So synchronized with the music and such a flow, like there's a story behind it. Unlike the Singapore displays which shows all big and loud booming fireworks. Creative and colourful. Some pretty low lying fireworks that were blocked by the grass, shrubs, trees and what have you. It's a pity that the display was rather far, I half suspected that we'll get a better view at esplanade. Why can't they just hold the concert and the display near esplanade? It'll be better than the out of the way Marina South. Gotta take mrt to Marina Bay then take a bus which you still have to pay! And guess what, the concert by the bay website states the venue as Marina Bay, Marina South, Marina Padang which was damn confusing!! I did a quick check on net and Marina South turns out to be where Ritz Carlton, Pan Pac and Marina Mandarin are located. Then shouldn't the concert be somewhere around Esplanade? Aiyah so confusing... Ok maybe it's just us. Didn't take pix cos the cam batt went flat... arghh.

Then the concert. Marina South's too vast an area. Though I was pretty put off by the crowd when I made my way there, it's still too vast to be filled. In fact it looks a bit sparse. Don't really like Sweety. One person that I need to mention is Tong En. She's one cool chick, very high haha and of cos her vocal's damn powerful!! Very good live performance. She's indeed very good in performing no wonder all the veteran singers in Taiwan praise her so much. Nnadia was ok, she looked good. Well most of the guys went for eVonne and Landy. You can hear guys screaming when eVonne made her entrance. But she must have had too many Snow.Wolf.Lake performances, her singing was very musical, unlike the commercial way. But haha when Landy made her entrance, you can hear all the guys screaming (much louder than that for eVonne) and rushing into empty spaces near the stage, flashing their powerful cameras zooming in to the fullest. Of cos she did her stuff, with the booky shakin. She's really a hot chick I must admit!! But of cos her vocals are what I'm more impressed with. I've always thought she could sing and very well indeed, that's why I like her. Hot look with nothing to prove is just a turn off, to me at least. I thought she sounded sick when she was singing her first song and indeed she was. Too bad she's suffering from a serious throat infection so her singing wasn't that perfect. You could hear her very hoarse voice when she talks. Poor gal. Then poor Daniel Zhang, who was the last to come on, after Landy, had to bear with the less than sparse crowd. Simply because you can see everyone leaving right after Landy made her exit!!! hahaha If only she could garner the same support for her album sales. Anyway Daniel was sick too and he didn't sing live but I bet he can't do it even if he's not. Unlike Landy who insisted to sing live though her condition was much worse than Daniel. Haha

Yah and there's this stupid guy who kept inching forward whenever we moved. He's standing really close to us man. Though he didn't touch us but it was damn uncomfortable!! Sometimes I wonder why do I always meet such freaks. Of cos if he's some handsome dude I don't mind, but then again handsome dude won't come near me!! Hrmpp!
