Bitching session

There was so much bitching goin on today. From me, to my friends, to my TA!

*For the benefit of non-NUS students, TA refers to Teaching Assistant, or simply tutor.

It was pretty exciting and farnie discussing abt 小白，小黑　and 大黑 over lecture. Haha secret code between e 2 of us. No, no prize for guessing who they are... Anyways e ple who read my blog (if there's any, tt is) wun noe who they r. As we were deeply engrossed in our discussion, our TA was helping the Lecturer do a demo. Somehow the lecturer commented that my TA was stronger so he has to carry out e demo... My TA, who was standing a step behind e lecturer, made a gesture of placing 3 fingers on his forehead (looks lidat -_-''' if u dun get me) and then another action with his 5 fingers(indicating e crow flying past). The whole LT burst out in laughters haha n e stupid lecturer din noe what was going on cos he cun c what e TA did!I bet he din understd even if he saw! Arghhh!!! Wahaha

So after the lect, we went to ask e TA some stuff (more of my frens asking lah). So e we were toking and one of e gal told e TA tt she feels she doesn't learn anything during e lect! My TA was like shhh come closer haha n he say "Yah actually u all can dun attend his lecture one... E notes quite self contained..." WAH!! TA said tt haha. Den we told him e lecturer v waste time... owas carry out demos unsuccessfully and we cant c! So much time is spent on watching video clips during lect... And he can play e video which explains e lect n he'll skip tt part... arghh!! den attend lect for wat! TA: "Yah lah he's lidat one lah.... but he's better now oreadi..." when asked where's e lecturer fr, TA: "He's fr china but he spent many yrs in UK n US, but dunno y his eng stil lidat haha" Then we asked him a qns regarding e final CA format n he asked y did we not approach e lecturer? OKie cos e lecturer owas direct our qns n email to our TA... everytime i email e lecturer n CC to TA, it's e TA who replies... TA: "Yah lah! My mail box everyday also flooded!" SO he playfully suggested we tok over tea rather den bitch outside e LT haha. He's a VVVV nice TA, answer each and every qns, conducts tut well, thou he can get abit lame at times! lol but he's e oni TA for e module and he has to go thru e same tutorial 9 times a wk... explainin e same stuff over n over again! Poor TA...

Yah so we (my frens rather) actually went up to him to ask abt e peer appraisal. He offered to help, cos there's this problematic gal in my fren's gp. Let's jus call e gal "B" (oops i dun mean bitch =p). And anyways this B is like commander of e gp, without consulting e members, she'll assign this n tt... She bore this personal grudge against one of e member and she actually assigned 9 chapters (outta 20) to this gal while leaving 3 of e easiest chapts to herself! N so as e poor gal wasn't informed of wat to do cos she had missed e 1st meetin(n B had promised to inform her of e status of e proj), she emailed B nicely to ask for work n to be told what is going on... B sent an email to everyone but directed to tt gal "Can u pls stop BITCHING abt me not doing this n tt??" yesh w BITCHING in caps!! so e poor gal did reply. She did her part n emailed B to ask for comments (since B is full of comments) n B actually told her "Can u pls do ur work urself n stop asking me abt every single thing" Damn! WTH...n she wud purposely choose proj meeting when e poor gal cant make it.

N on her own part, B said she din un wat she had to do and couldnt source for info... so she pushed her work to another member. Den she told e gal she was tired n busy so she "volunteered" to compile for she didnt do her part. N yes she had e cheek to tell e gal tt she went out n was tired so she KO when reached hm at 9... N e nx time, she said she stayed up til 3am. IF u tot she had trip.. U CALL TT NO TIME!! In e end what was supposed to be compiled was more of a cut n paste.

Many other small actions tt i dun wanna mention but when put together, they'r all magnified... U'll noe how self-centred she is.

I tot having a MIA person in my gp is bad enuf, but well like another fren said at least u dun hv to put up w a MIA person, jus say he/she had nv contributed. So true..

So to end off with an account of my own encounter w B... Was takin a same module as her last sem. I din noe her at all but my fren knew her briefly. So she actually approached us to form a gp with another 2 guys. Few wks later, w/o informing us beforehand, she told my fren tt she had now joined another gp. Damn! she's e one who approached us! N she refused to leave e new gp, cos apparently there's a v gd lookin cute guy there. So wat she offered to my fren was "u all 2 can come over my gp if u wan lah but lidat e 2 guys i dunno how" It's like not offering any solution! So I decided we shud leave e gp n e guys apparently left too. I heard fr my fren tt B wanted to pull e same stunt for this proj too ie to change gp, after e 1st meeting. But my fren talked her outta it. So I was REALLY glad i wasn't in e same gp as her! Given my character I dun think I wud hv put up w her.

Ok nuff said. So after e session w my TA, me n my fren went for tea. And it was another round of bitching, abt friends and relationships haha.

Den on my way home, met another fren, a fellow life sci student and we bitched abt e course and e job prospect! Wahahaa

Tt's ALOTTA bitching in a day! Phew! But like my fren said, "Bitching is a gd form of stress release" haha thumbs up!

Lastly thx to all those who shared n participated in this bitching session today! lol esp u, sweetie... thx for listening to all I hv to say... Such a shame I din get to noe u better earlier... But it's all not too late rite now! Muacks!
