Acute detector

Outta of the 5 tremors that Singapore had felt due to the earthquake at our dear neighbour, Sumatra, I felt 4. Ironically, I missed the one that had led to the deadly tsunami. I'm not so insane to say I'm a sucker for it but u've really gotta experience for urself to know how it really feels. I've been asked to describe how it feels... I just can't put it into words.

I felt the tremors twice yesterday.

First Tremor at 0630pm

over at home
*sitting on e floor, same position as when i felt e quake e previous time*
me: eh Kor, the floor's shaking!
Kor: Siao ah, u think got so many earthquake meh??

*maybe i was too paranoid.... then seconds later*
Kor : ehh.... got abit lah....
me : Dee, quick sit on the floor, feel the tremor for u haven felt it before
Dee: *quickly sat on the floor* Dun have liao lah... By this time still got meh? *gets up and sat
on sofa*
me : *to Kor, poking his arm* Say I siao lah! U retarded lah, cannot feel tremors one, for a
moment, u must have thought it was ur leg feeling numb again!
*quickly changes MSN nick to "I felt the tremors again.... Or am I hallucinating??"

over sms
Ling: Eh just now got earthquake again huh?
me: Yah. I have become the quake device. Everytime got earthquake u'll ask me...
Ling: Ya! wanted to make sure.. Only I felt it! And I thought it was my heart thumping again!
So I din bother to tell me sis.. Aiyah wasted.. Haha..
me: I was in e same position lah. My bro stil say i ah siao.
Ling: I also in same position! That's y i thought i think too much... Hahaha. Not siao lah
Hahaha... Aiyo.. Dunno how many ple going to die again..
Ah Chuan: Eh you were not hallucinating... Really got earthquake lah..
me : I know, and I have become the quake detector
Ah Chuan: Haha... That's useful lor...

Second Tremor at 0130am

over at home
*darts outta room, see if anyone's up, esp retarded Kor so I can prove my point.*
*Everyone's asleep... returns to room disappointed...*
*Quickly changes MSN nick to " Believe me! I felt the tremors again!"

QR: got earthquake meh? Was it in the news?
QR: U living in earthquake prone area...
Ah Chuan : u felt it again?
Un-named: Ur place shook again?
Mel: got shake meh? U mean got earthquake?
Ah Chuan: Hope later u don't slp and feel the bed shaking...
me: I'll go check on CNA
Ah Chuan: Don't worry, think it's nothing serious lah
me: Not worried lah, just wanna confirm if this detector is working right lol

*How can ple not know there's a quake? when there really is one??*

Ok y did i even bother to give an account of what happened??!! Anyway to prove my point, I have become the earthquake detector. The previous times whenever i felt a tremor it would take me some time to come to my senses and realise it wasn't me having hallucination or feeling giddy. But i can now say that I am able to identify a quake tremor from the very instance I feel it. These things come with experience ya know?

P/S. To know or confirm if there's an earthquake, pls call or sms or msn. It'll probably give you an accurate account if the device is functioninf well, unless it's placed away from the detection region...
