In New Hampshire

Haven blogged for awhile! I hope there's still people reading my blog...

Anyways the past month has been pretty busy, meeting up with friends and i guess I went through alot too. Just glad to say that all's well and thanks to everyone who made an effort to meet up, asked me out etc. FOr those whom I didn't have a chance to meet, we'll always have a chance! Thanks to those who sent me off at the airport, it was a hell timing but u guys made e effort or isit abit forced? haha anyways I un alotta ple cant come cos they had to work or etc. Oh and to my dear family too!! Miss ya!!

Alrights I'm now well settled in New Hampshire, US. Still residing in the hotel. It's a blast! Nice suite and all.
Drove from the very first day I reached here and yes Left hand drive isn't as difficult as everyone thought it might be. Pretty ok, just have to remind yourself to keep to the right side of the road. Drivers here are so polite and patient. So no worries! I'm driving a 1.8 Nissan Sentra. A gold one! Car plate 8876. Des said it's his dad's previous car plate number. So must remember to buy 4D! Pls remit me some money if u do strike... Anyways the people here pump petrol on their own so I did myself too, for the very first time in my life after driving for so long! haha Well 3 persons are assigned to a car but we don't really bother that much about the arrangement, try to car pool usually. But well for mine, outta the 3 of us, 2 of us hold licence but one of the gal is a pretty new driver with little road experience so that makes her a lil jittery and that's why I drive. I'm pretty ok with that. Cos you really have to drive to be able to get around here in NH. No public transport, I was told you can only get taxis in town. But well now that we have 2 cars at the house I guess it'll be ablot easier since 3 outta 4 of the guys drive. But I do realise I do enjoy quite abit now, perhaps cos the roads aren't congested so it makes driving a pleasure!

After many days of searching, finally found a nice house! We were almost dying cos we were so scared we can't find a house when suddenly the guys found a house for rent. Many probs in between, shouldn't mention it since we've finally found a place we like and of cos fun loving house mates! My dear Lixuan!! And siewmin, together with SC, Ben, Alexan and Wenyan. So tthat makes up 3 gals and 4 guys. Just when you wonder how the 7 of us are gonna squeeze, this is a 3 storey house with a garage large enough for 4 cars with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Very nicely done up but we gotta furnish it on our own though. Promise to take pics of the pretty house once we move in! Ready for some BBQ sessions (oh there's a porch to hold them!) and party time! Our direct next door nieghbour are also people from our program and there are also friends living in the house opposite so we can always stick around as much as we like. My house mates are a bunch of pretty fun people. I mean the guys are quite funny and we already had countless talk cock sessions at the hotel lobby area and dinner and games in the guy's room for dinner and watched Alexan play FEAR. And we've got to continue to search for furniture!

Been driving around but mainly for viewing of apartments and also places near by to shop for stuff. The furthest we went was prolly Hampton beach, I haven upload my pix and that's where my sad story comes in. Ok to start with, the webcam that I bought in Singapore somehow didn't work here. I just cant get it hooked on to my com, though it's Mac OS supported. So I had to buy another one of another brand of cos here. Now the webcam can be hooked up but it's still unstable somehow. That's not the end of the story. When we went to hampton beach, ok the guys insisted we go cos there was some Miss Hamptom Beach going on, I dropped my digital cam face down onto the sand while passing the bags back to the gals when they finished taking a shot. So I guess some sand particle got stuck somewhere and the lense cant close. The sand at the beach is damn fine. So after much frustration with the webcam, (I can't use it for days and I wanted to use it badly!), I had to face the issue with my camera! I brought along my international warranty but the shops here insisted that they have to have my proof of purchase (receipt) to send along for repair. There's really nothing I can do here. Checked with several stores.. I mean in Singapore we dun hv to kp receipts tog with the warranty right? So I'm contemplating if I shud send it back to Singapore and perhaps get a new one. I'm like spending money in the wrong way. I bot both my webcam and digital cam just a few days before I fly and I have to spend money again on things I've bought! How worse can this get.... Wat's gonna spoil next?!

Orientation week's gonna start next wk for one whole wk and then actual starts. There're definitely things to learn but I guess life is more relaxing here.... Good life now, trying to enjoy as much as I can while not gettin fat!

I guess it'll be harder to chat once I start working cos the hours will be hard to coordinate. But people, kp in touch ya! Will update whn I'm not feeling so lazy ya....
