Blade Watching

Was at ghost town yesterday... Yes, orchard turned into a ghost town... Ok I'm exaggerating. But really, town looked like it was only filled with 50% of the usual weekend crowd. Besides CNY, I think this is the ONLY time I've seen town so empty... Bumped into a couple of friends and they told me the same thing. Our conclusion was, it's the exam period! Haha. Since it was my first time hanging out in town during the exam period, this was naturally the first time I'd seen such a situation... Cause previously I was of cos mugging with the rest of the people. So the "young people" actually contributes so much to the economy...

Anyway went blading today. Or shall I say I wanted to.. it's been for the *lost count*th week running... Been saying I wanna blade, but everytime we decide to, it'll start to rain!! Ok so today there was progression. Drove down to ECP, finally found a parking lot and made our way to the blades rental after munching on ice cream. But hell, the moment we put on our blades, and believe me, it's the very moment we put on one side of the blades, we felt drops of rain.... Shit! So we walked around cos the sky was getting real dark and of cos it started to pour really heavily. But before that, of cos time wasn't really wasted haha. As much as u can guess, there're plenty of cute guys around haha. From the guy who approached us for the blades, to the other shop assistant to that blading instructor. So we were just standing along the blading ring looking at people blade and those learning to blade. Then we saw this cute lil boy who kept falling, looking very exhausted. He's skinny and couldn't balance well. So this guy who looked around the same age as us came from nowhere, picked him up and taught him how to do it the right way. Clad in an oversized T-shirt n jeans, it took us a while to realise he's the instructor. He looked like another young lad, slightly beng with the dyed hair though not extremely good looking. But they way he coax the kid somehow made him look good. He wasn't harsh or gentle with the kid, just teaching him and guiding him along, seems like he's rather patient. He'll scoop the kid up by the underarms when he fell, lift him around and teach him again, rub the kid's head and mess up his hair. Cute! i exclaimed a couple of times and SL was like, "who are u referring to??" Hahaha.

See it's not difficult to impress me, as long as you are passable(at least look funky haha) and showing some positive qualities while playing with a kid or an animal(namely, cats n dogs), make me feel that you like kids and/or pets, DING DING you got it! Most of my friends know I love babies and cats and dogs, so hmmm, it's not that difficult right haha.

Good news finally, but it's still up to me to make it a true piece of good news.

Silence is perfect for the night
All alone you hide
From the lights shone too bright

This very moment you own
Don't waste away a night so beautiful
