Cheater Bugs
Hui has commented that my blog is mainly for slamming people and reprimanding their acts. I do not deny it. Why so I have so much complains and so much to criticize? Because they force me to. I simply cannot justify their silly acts and they deserved to be slammed!
Company A had informed me of a vacancy of an admin assistant and arranged for an interview. So I went all the way for the interview early in the morning. I sensed something wasn't right when I stepped outta the lift cos the whole floor was under this "brand". But I thought they might really just need an admin assistant. It was the first time I was asked to complete a personality test sheet for an interview... Guess what I was told? I'm over qualified for the position. Goddamn I'm looking for a TEMP job! Who cares about being over qualified when I'm merely asking for a reasonable hourly wage. The interviewer declared he wanted a perm staff. Wth... I specified that I'm looking for a temp job in the email and the resume. He couldn't have missed that when he had read and replied my mail. So he offered an alternative, to be a financial advisor. *Ta dah*... The truth is out. That's just a gimmick. The truth is they just offer you any positions, tell you you're not suitable when you turn up for an interview and try to sell you the idea of being a FA. Gave me loadsa reasons, like being self-employed, don't need any capital, flexible hours for my performance and able to pursue my interest. Nahz I'm just not interested.
Rushed for a second interview in a day and it started to rain. The moment I reached Company B at a pretty ulu location, I received a call from the interviewer while waiting for the lift. She asked if I'm working on a temp basis, I said yes and she said she needed a perm. Damnit! I'm downstairs! I'm so pissed. Can't these people show more responsiblity? When people send you an email and resume, you jollywell read it! Open your eyes and read. If you managed to see the position I'm seeking(with a TEMP stated) and my contact number, you can't miss the TEMP! And I did double check with the person who contacted me that I'm looking for a temp job only. It's totally irresponsible to only scrutinise my resume at the time when I'm supposed to come for an interview. It's the Nth time I've said this, no one can beat me in being suay!
Attended a focus group later in the day, which was actually hosted by that very same "brand". My group was rather anti-FA, the moderators mentioned that we were the most negative group they came across. Haha. And we all rattled on about how we or people around us were cheated by the company or disgusted by the FAs at roadshows. It was tough on the moderators too, having to defend themselves. And of cos I mentioned about the interview that very morning plus the agent who pretended to know me. All the moderators managed was "the blacksheep, the blacksheep". I've signed a confidential agreement to not reveal any details I've seen and heard then so I can't divulge more except that I earned good money and good dinner for it. And because we were referred by different employment agencies, some poor guy was paid only half of what the others earned.
Anyways I'm having another interview for the position of junior secretary but in the same building as the first interview. I suspect it's a scam again. I'll call to make sure. Don't waste my time n money!!
