Getting Serious

Finally! The bun soh tang aka rubbish bin is removed!
And gas is here! This means no more icy cold baths! And we can finally cook!
Cooked for the past 3 days but just some simple fare.

Alright so first week of work for me. One word to describe. BORING!! Everyone one of us were made to read the never ending SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure). ANd some doesn't even concern us! Different departments have different list of SOP to read and complete. But the common thing is that all of fell aslp while reading! That's why when we collected our labtops on tuesday, everyone was busy MSN-ing and emailing each other haha. Just to kill time. My supervisor (sup for short) was held up by some major urgent project and hence didn't have time for me. So I was kinda adopted by another sup and yah me and another gal were given the job to do FILING! As if it's not bad enough, we were made to file documents from the whole of last year to this year's to date. It doesn't help that the shelves were high up and no stools were around. The numbers on the files were kinda hidden and we had to like pull out each and everyone to check the number! And I'm talking about over 1000 documents to file! But well we managed to file 1.5 yrs worth of documents within 1.5 days. Pretty impressive I would say. But resulting in countless paper cuts and a sore neck. Arghh!! Today was much better though, my sup finally has time for me and passed me a stack of documents to go through, so that I know what urgent project she has been handling for the past week and thus able to get me involved in the updates. Oh did I mention I'm in the deviations department? Nvm, will share more on that when I have a very clear picture of what I do. I have better understanding of my role now but not totally haha. She mentioned she''ll start me off with some smaller scale cases just to get me familiarized. Sounds Great! And she's a beautiful nice lady, Lisa Ellen. Oh and the ple there just love my name! They say it's a v sweet name haha I'm known as Melis to them btw, there're like 1000 and 1 Melissas here. Who was the one who said Melis is common huh?? haha


Went for BBQ at Teck's house last sumday. Pretty fun I would say. Some pix to share.

Just thought it was quite farnie someone looked himself outside his room haha. Knocked off the door knob but the lock is still intact and all his stuff are locked in. Poor thing! Bad of me yah... haha
