I finished watching my Full House DVD!!! So nice.... Rain is soooo cute, especially when he smiles.... I love guys with nice smile. Of cos Song Hye Gyo is cute too, think she finally had a breakthrough, she can do more than those petite, weak, crybaby female lead who lives a sad life... Should listen to the "Three Little Bears" song she sung haha, I've decided to use that as my msg tone(once I get down to transferring to my phone that is). OK all I have to say is I'm totally smitten with Rain, even though I already was hahaha. *Insanely happy*

Anyway I've quit my stupid job and going over to the MNC which I mentioned. Can call me a job hopper but who cares to stay in this bloody company who makes me pay them 30 bucks for the printing of my namecards, stating as a loss they incurred, when I haven't even got the namecards yet! God knows if they have even sent for printing! Sent to print in Malaysia so cheapo and cost 30bucks?? Then why send to Malaysia when it's more ex since from what I know can get cheaper in Singapore?? It was reasonable to make me pay them back one day of salary cos they had paid me til the 30th when I quit on the 29th, but the namecards?? RIDICULOUS. Well I could have made a fuss outta that and refused to pay but I just wanted to leave them immediately without having anything to do with them ever again!! So when the accountant sounded so desperate for me to pay them on the very day, I asked my dad over and issued a cheque to them, even though they told me later that it's ok for me to send them e cheque or transfer to their account. KNS, I told them no need, I'll get my dad here! Can't be bothered with my Lady boss, I just left the hp and cheque on her desk while she was on the phone and walked away. My colleague was like so disgusted when I told her about this, so we exchanged a number of sms secretly in the office haha. She told me to just pay them the miserable sum and never look back! haha and she said she won't stay long in this company too. The boss wanted to send her overseas to attend a seminar but she had to pay for everything through her own credit card first. As if it wasn't bad enough he wanted her to pay for another staff from the Jarkata office, using her credit card too. And mentioned that the lady boss is angry with him for apply a supplementary card for the Jarkata staff... My colleague was like so?? none of my business , she angry then I have to pay for the Jarkata lady?? RIDICULOUS!!! And it was then that I know the staff had to book their flights and room if they were sent overseas. This kinda thing shud be done by the secretary what, which happens to be the lady boss. Then I heard many juicy stories like having to employ working permit themself, not allowed to take half day leave to collect the permit, when in the first place the employer has to arrange for it!, the bosses showing black face to people who take urgent leave... etc.... and plus the lousy benefits and contract terms which I can't state here.... All these makes my leaving a good decision! Let's hope I'll be happier with a change of environment.

My Week

It has been an eventful hence tiring week, Haha I've been out the whole wk, everyday after work, that explains why.... If you still dunno, yes the past thursday was my birthday. Thanks to everyone who celebrated with/for me, and those who sms me. Thanks for remembering and putting the effort. So I've been meeting up with friends for the past week, since last weekend for dinner and ktv..... Nothing much on that but I do have some pix taken on the celebrations which I haven got from my frens yet. And I promised to put up Yijia's action pack singing haha damn farnie la this guy, many many action. Too bad we weren't in time to film him singing Alex Toh's Tuo Diao. Haha. And Zhiyong, you still owe me a birthday kiss! lol.

On my birthday itself, my bro fetched me on the way to get my birthday cake and cos he had to park the car, he asked me to collect the cake, which was kinda weird.... Collect my own cake... then the lady obviously didn't know the cake was for me, how the hell would she know. So she asked me how old (meaning how many candles I want). which was again very weird....
Anyway I realise many people's birthdays fall on September. I attended a 21st birthday chalet today and heading for another one tml. Very shiong on the pocket leh lidat... and it doesn't help that I've been taking cab often, cos i'll be very tired at the end of the day after going out from work and thinking that I have to wake up early the next day to work, I'll decide to take a cab. Spending alot....

Anyway this cute lil kitten was hanging around my corridor one night. My bro spotted it when he got home late one day and we started to play with it and fed it, until this certain guy stepped out from the lift and said in a very nice tone that he is bringing the cat home. So we supposed the kitten is his. Then 2 days later we saw the kitten again at the same corridor and it seemed really hungry cos it kept meowing, so i feed it with water and tuna. That supposed owner actually didn't bring it home but made a sorta bed for it with a pillow in a shoe box and definitely didn't feed it!! Anyway the main thing was the kitten followed us home!! haha it was so cute it didn't dare to follow straight so as it walked it hid itself along the way so it won't be seen by us hahaha. Then it came right up to me in front of my house and i cuddled it a lil, it ran straight into my house!! Of cos my mum screamed.... My mum doesn't like small animals, she thinks they are dirty. So no choice my bro carried it out and let go of it, then it ran into my house again haha. This time my mum got realli angry I had to carry it all the way up to it's "bed". I felt so sad and bad... How I wish I could keep it, It kept meowing, I think it didn't want to leave us.... The next morning when I left for work I saw it near my house but I didn't have time to play with it for long.... But the sad thing was, my cousin called me while I was out after work to tell me that the kitten had gone to the 2nd floor on its own and couldn't find its way back... I searched for it when I got home late that night but I couldn't find it again... I even bought milk on the way back to feed it.... But I think it wandered away...Now every time I got home, I'll check if it's around its bed. My dad promised that if I can find it I can keep it, but the main problem is my mom.... Haiz....

Anyway another eventful incident when I was on my way home just now... Was on a bus and somehow halfway I smelled something pungent, saw many people in the bus standing up, turned and saw smoke inside the bus. I dunno wat caught fire but I was standing right in front of the exit so I got down immediately when the bus stopped. I still dunno what happened after alighting cos it looked perfectly ok outside. Got on to another bus only to meet a reckless driver. Closes the door before all passengers alighted, and did not pull the brake when stopping so the bus jerked forward while passengers were boarding.... Then the most exciting happened when I sat down beside this guy, who looked almost the same age as me, perhaps a little younger. He was reading his advanced theory book when his fren called. After piecing together all the conversation from the many phone calls he made, the story goes something like this.... He(call him A) had made an enemy in school and somehow after the matter had rest, this guy is still bu shuang with him. So A's fren (B) was on the bus just now and met a fren of the enemy. This enemy's friend bad mouthed A, B was unhappy and confronted him. But the enemy's friend followed B when he got down the bus, called his gang of frens over(what we call diao zui. not pia zui, cos the latter refers to the action), and one of them chased after him with a knife.... The frightened boy ran home of cos and called A. haha I heard A telling another fren over the phone (after his fren told him dunno what) that the if he kept on calling, by the time he finish informing, C would be hacked to death haha He called C, told him to be careful lest the guys loiter around his home laying attack, and he dunno how to help him, except to confront his enemy.... Complicated huh? End of story.

Oh Anyone has good lobangs on getting cars? Or know of some reliable car owner? My fren's getting a car....

Daily-Weekly

This will be a busy week.... and tiring.... will be out everyday after work.... But it means something too, that my frens love me haha. I'm glad I'm gonna meet my dear Erin this friday haven met her in ages! And congrats to her ROM nx wk! hee I'll be there gal, to share this special and xing fu moment of yours!

No reply from G*K yet....My agent says they take ages. I kinda got a shock today when my boss mentioned sthg abt blog.... I was stationed at biopolis today for an exhibition and he came in the morning. So he was taking pix of our booth and he wasked me if I wanna be in it, I was like noooooo..... Then he siad "Can put in your blog". I was taken aback... he knows I have a blog? He read it? Cos if you had been a faithful follower of my blog, then u would know that I mentioned about some other interview haha. The fact that I'm bringing this up again suggests that I'm pretty ok even if he reads this post, cos since he wud have read the previous. Lol. My cousin had warned me: I wonder what would happen if your boss reads your blog. I assured him nothing of that sort would happen since I didn't give anyone in my coy, my blog add. I didn't even give any of them my personal cell phone number. But of cos they do have it in my resume. My cousin added that who knows, there may be some link in the stupid friendster (yes, I quote him). Well, if my boss reads it too bad, get fired at the most. I'm not very sure if I can or want to stay in that job for long.

So like I mentioned, I was at the biopolis exhibition the whole of today. half a day more tml. Got to know some nice sales exec, both gals and guys. The gals are extremely frenly, even suggested to lunch together next time, since we all cover more or less the same area, meaning NUS and Biopolis. We might be considered competitors but in actual fact, we focus on different products and I see no reason why we can't be frens. Business is business. Ok then the guys, pretty not bad, nice to talk with and ermz cute haha. One of the gal was actually working as a temp admin staff and we hit it off right away. So both of us went around, started talking to other sales rep. When I returned to my booth my stupid colleague, whom I have to share a terminal with, exclaimed : Wah, go talk to so many people, so fast thinking of changing job ah.... Damn sacarstic right? Damn, he's such a loser, my bro said he's prolly the type to back stab so I better not reveal too much to him when he asks me on how I feel about the company, always emphaisize that he is not one of the family member of the company, so can tell him this outsider. Everyday tell me the same thing, that he's not trying to scare me, this line have to work hard, pick up fast, starting is not easy and I have to adjust to working life, search myself to see if I'm actually for sales..... Aiyah rubbish! Even if it makes sense, anything that comes from him is rubbish! Gibberish! Nonsense!

Anyway it's quite easy to talk to sales people, I guess because we are all in sales, it comes naturally, just smile then start to talk talk... Then next step exchange name card. Lidat easily exchange number! hahahaha but then e hp number on my namecard isn't my personal cell phone number. So if i think this person can make a friend, I'll leave him/her my personal no.

At least now, I'm not so put off by my coy's products, I'm just not perticularly interested ins elling usch products. One day of exhibition does change opinions abit haha but then I think things will get alot better once I start going out. Cos I'm quite sian in the office and nothing to do. Once I reali establish contacts and go out to meet clients, I guess I'll learn more, since I will have to handle direct enquiry and not facing/memorising the catalogue which will never register. Learn on the job, that's what I feel, but my lady boss was like: what learn on the way, must learn fast leh!!! Hmmm ok lor..... I try..... Aiyah but going out to meet clients via taxi is quite inconvenient, since sometimes I have to carry the heavy catalogue, and very hard to eat snake with the evidence of taxi reciept. But then I wun buy a car now lah, haven even confirm. If i get into G*K, will need to have a car, that's the pre-requisite of the job. So people, listen up I don't have a car NOW and don't intend to buy just YET! Cos since my previous post, friends have been rather concern about me buying car and some even tot I have bot one... You think is go market buy vegetables huh, say buy then buy......

On job & Dengue

I'm finally blogging again :D

Realised I forgot to blog on an interesting story, that is the process before I got my current job. Haha I took a cab down to the interview venue on that day and the cabbie was asking me what am I going there for etc. So I told him casually that I was heading for an interview. Outta nowhere he asked me if I believed in Jesus. I was like huh.... Oh I was from a Christian school.... Then he kept on asking if I believed and if I did, he can pray for me. So I was like Okie..... He started his prayer, asking me to repeat after him line after line. It was ok for the first few lines... but he kept going on.... until for like 5-7min.....so practically I was repeating after him for the whole journey.... And lastly, he told me if I believed then his prayer will work and that I'll have to go to church if God really showed mercy. I haven been to the church yet, I thought I should at least go one day to thank God :D. The nice cabbie gave me a booklet on his church and most importantly, he only asked for 4 bucks when the cab fare was actually 6plus. He told me money didn't matter, as long as I believed. Haha

I think Heaven likes to play jokes on people. I was asked to go down for an interview by an established firm, IC*N (cannot disclose the full name lah haha) few days before I started work. I told them I'll be on a 3 mth temp assignment and they told me they'll get back to me if they needed someone after 3mths. It probably means gone case cause they needed someone immediately. I didn't lie, in fact my current job is a 3mth temp to perm position. Then today my agent called me up, to go down for a 2nd interview at G*K, another big established firm. I was kinda lost, cos I had to work on the day they proposed for an interview. I told my agent to require for a reschedule. Then after I called home and told my mum about it, I decided to go ahead with the interview, and called my agent back. Luckily she couldn't get hold of the person in charge. Haha so I shall fake that I'm on MC cos anyway I don't have to produce the medical certificate since I can't claim while I'm still on probation haha. Anyways just go to try try lor.... see how... cos my current coy's benefits(salary aside) are rather lousy.

I'm pretty worried that I'll be infected with dengue. Cos my neighbour's stupid maid failed to discard some water holding vessel. And when she removed the lid, many mosquitoes flew out...She even wanted to "recycle" the water and use it to water the plants!!! My house has been frequented by mosquitoes. My bro and I got bitten!!! Ahhh.... with the dengue endemic, it's hard not to feel freaky. So I shall hereby share some dengue knowledge haha there are 4 strains(variants) of dengue and each person can only be infected with dengue for up to 4 times in his enitre life, cos you'll be immuned to that very strain everytime you are infected. Oh but that is you can survive FOUR infections. Cos you usually die on the second infection, as it would very likely cause heamorrhagic fever. Or if you are infected by 2 strains at a time. Dengue is mainly spread by 2 types of Aedes mosquitoes, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus. They are called the vectors. Both have different feeding and breeding behaviour, but they usually bite during late afternoon and evening. I can't remember which is which but I remember one type likes clean water while the other likes dirty water. Since A. aegypti is more the well-known one, I think it is the one that thrives in dirty water based on the dengue education. And one is rather small so it requires many bites since its feeding is small everytime, therefore infecting many human host. My prof has told me that in recent years, dengue is not usually contracted at home, but outside home, contrary to the government's effort to clean out homes and to drain any water vessels at home. Homes are clean, but it's usually those sewage, gutters, drains, construction sites that are contaminated. And fogging doesn't help, because by the time the dengue patient is identified, the incubation period of the virus in the mosquito and other infected human is already over. The mosquito would have flown to other places and found new human host. But dengue identification kit has improved the identification process tremendously. Dengue fever actually share similar symptoms like flu. But it is like serious flu, with greater agony and magnitude and with rapid onset of symptoms. Unlike flu where you'll slowly get runny nose etc. Can go and read up more on your own if you are interested haha. Wah this is alot of information already! lol. I love studying viruses and bacteria, I miss school!!

Oh btw, if you all had read TNP, it says that both chop-victims-up murderers share the same birthday.... April 16... freaky.... Any one with the same birth date around?...

MIA for the past week....

Spent full 5 days working at the food fair... A couple of friends came to visit me and of cos I was kind enough to give them freebies... Free 1L of milk/juices/nutrisoy each..... Good right?? Haha Mus THANK me!!! hahaha Anyways it was an enjoyable experience..... It was good money albeit all the standing... almost 12 hrs per day.... My legs really felt like breaking at the end of the day, like 2 blocks of wood, they didn't felt like mine.... But the people there were nice. My booth ple were quite nice... the gals I mean haha. Clicked w one of them very well and a few others not bad...:D

I tot I'll lose weight from the "hard" work, end up I think I gained.... Had free ice-cream, abalone and shark's fin soup everyday!! Shark's fin wasn't that authentic of cos but the nice uncle owas throw in a full spoon of shark's fin into the starch for me haha. Nice uncle! Very nice lor... really everyday provide food and also sausages... Think straight! haha But of cos we gave him and his workers free drinks in return. Some other aunties and vendors also provided us free food and we gave them drinks in return. Very friendly and nice people! haha Then of cos we gals also played around when we work... haha and of cos must flirt abit with guys to make them buy!!! hahaha ok la actually is being super friendly lah!! lol

And this brings me to my new job... after 5 days at food fair, I started my perm job today, consecutively..... as a life science sales exec. Well but being a sales exec is different from being a seller at food fair. Flirting doesn't help haha cos people who buy from you are PhD holders or Research fellows... They don't go for that lol. Was going through the phone-book thick catalogue in the morning... til i wanna KO!! The sales engineer and manager kept on rambling about the products.... Like I've got mega memory lidat!! Can't remember lah!! Aiyoh... It's more of like learning on the job, no proper training... Then lunched with the sales guys... all family men... no cute guy... I'm the only female sales exec in the coy... So I was quietly eating my lunch throughout... SIANZ!!! But I'll prolly join the office ladies tml since my lady boss suggested. Yah the coy I'm in is a small coy and I tot only my boss, his wife, and his brother-in-law are in the business. Today my sales manager told me, when he brot me out, that so and so are actually the bro-in-law's wife and son... Family business lor..... No wonder everyone leaves at 5.45 sharp and reports after 8.30 hahaha. Yah so I actually visited some site on the very 1st day... My sales manager brot me along to intro some customers. I'll be taking over the NUS and biopolis area... If I decide to work at the company after 3 mths probation, I guess I have to buy a car sooner or later cos sales need a car for convenience after all. But I'll prolly start driving my dad's car first. Visted NUS and biopolis today.... Kinda weird feeling, returning to the campus with a different status and purpose... But I guess I can meet my friends for lunch in school haha. Anyway I'll be given a new phone with paid subscription of cos, so I guess I have to carry 2 phones ard, for work n for personal use. It's troublesome but good in a way lah, I'll just switch off my phone at 5.45 sharp so I won't be harrassed by clients haha.

Lastly.... Something is annoying me a lot... Some people have been coming up, telling me I look like Kelly Poon! If you've been a faithful reader of my blog, u noe how much I dislike her! OK i noe many of u out there think she's chio... So i shud be honoured. But I don't think I look like her a wee bit! So I'm not so BHB to think I m chio ok!! And since I dun like her I dun see e pt to feel honoured. First it was Evelyn Tan, then it was Ezann Lee, now it's Kelly Poon... If you all noticed, they all have big face. And my face is bloody big too, so perhaps there lies the similarity.

Was at the Indoor Stadium for Superstar, it was good overall although I'm not on any side, I was glad that Weilian won, because I simply don't like Kelly!! I can't stand it!! SHe sounds and behaves SOOO much like Fann Wong!!! Her facial expression, her laughter, her smile, her actions, the way she talks.... Xie Xie!! Wo Hui Jia You De!! I can imitate her really haha even 8 days and I-weekly reporters also agree with me!! Oh yah talking about I-weekly, you've gotta check out Junyang and Candyce pix!!! So close! but i got inside news that they are not an item YET! hahaha

The other 22 contestants performed rather well I feel for all their categories, quite entertaining lah although of cos the singing was pre-recorded except for those non-all contestant performances... You get what I mean not? haha
Anyway I think the Jue Due judges were rather extra... haha when they appeared on the stage with their catwalk, Anthony Png like trying to act seh, behaving like a SUPERmodel lol. He is extra la, My way my way, no way no way, get your sandwich at Subway.... as infamous as his Sun Gueh saying... And erhem... Aunty Yip's cleavage is like sooo.... eye catching?? especially with the shadow cast on the cleavage when she holds her mic, it makes the cleavage looks like a rift valley haha. Some guys behind me were like "Wah Lau, isit use marker draw one??!!" Hahaha we kept laughing at the joke. And then when Xinhui and Junyang sang the duet, Wu Ding, she lean on him and they were like...."I think Xinhui likes Junyang secretly..." haha.

Well for the contest, I wasn't very interested or excited since I am mutual... mutually dun like haha. Wei lian sang well for the 1st 2 songs, i can feel his emotions, i think his singing is better when heard live then over the TV, but I guess because the echo is very loud in an enclosed area, everyone sounds just as good. Kelly sang well for her last 2 songs, the last one definitely made an impact. It was inappropriate to get them to sing with JJ, cos it's rather hard to do a guy guy duet compared to a girl guy duet, espcially since JJ and Weilian didn't sing different parts for the whole song, only on certain parts, not like Power Station. And their voices are similar in certain area so Weilian's voice tends to be overkapped by JJ's. It's of cos more distinct in a gal guy duet, you can separate the voices easily. Then 2 guy and 1 gal duet... strange rite? 2 guysfighting for one part... while the gal gets to sing her solo part.... Lidat fair lah.... The MOST biased thing was the song written for them to expose their flaws. It WAS meant to expose their weakness dunno why somehow Li Wei Song wrote the song to show Kelly's strength. You think it's fair? when Weilian gets to sing a song that show his weaknesses while Kelly sings a song that only strengthen her plus points.... Yes ple might say the song is very fast very hard to catch the beats so it's actually against Kelly. But if you noticed, she is weak on beats for slow songs, not fast numbers. In fact, slow songs can be harder to grasp, the tempo, the beats, the emotions. Then the judges still blame Weilian for singing the song penned for him in a very old fashion way. Comeon la go listen to song again! It's written in such an old fashion way, the tune espacially, how can it be sang in a modern way? R&B ah?? Then change the arrangement of the song lah! Oh I have to emphasize again, I don't support any of them, so I'm not biased towards or against any, but it's a fact that THEY are biased!

Ok then of cos came the real SUPERSTAR!! In fact the biggest part of me being their is for JJ! He's damn good can!!! He's like holding his own concert!! His beat box is super power!!! slow to fast his sense of rythym is damn good lah. And he is cute haha and sweet of cos.... Did you all hear him say "JY this is for you" when he started doing the beat box, before his rap. Just so plain sweet!!! In case you dunno, JY is Junyang. And JY is JJ's best friend. He is the Wayne that JY thanked when he failed at the last hurdle of Superstar. Yes, Wayne is actually JJ's christian name... Haha, so now you the difference between A Superstar and A superstar-to-be..... Let's hope JY makes it as big as JJ. But I still feel JY has the same old problem, he tends to imitate the singer when he sings the song. And when he's singing a song of his own. like today, he sounds like JJ. His voice albeit stable is not distinct enough.... It thought it was kinda ironic when JY and Xinhui performed their numbers better than the 2 champions....

The winner gets to sign a contract with play music... which is a local recrod label, handles local singers and foreign singers in Sinagpore and only Singapore. The 1st runner up gets to sign a recording contract with an International record label, Universal Music, which handles and market artistes from everywhere.... You call that fair lah.....

Derrick has sooo many fans!!! i think 40% of the stadium is shared by his and Junyang's.... Everytime both of them make an appearance on stage or on the tv screen, you can hear shrill screams!! Derrick has more though. I heard whenever the contestants wanna go supper they'll be stocked by fans and 70% of these fans are Derrick's so in the end they always have to change to another supper location lol. Just makes me wonder, how could Derrick and JY lose on voting...

Anyway JJ is the best ahahaha. And I tot the guys a cappella sounded good.... Oh how i miss TENSION!!! lol
