Hou She Nan Hai 后舍男孩

Just to share this SUPER DUPER farnie blog.. by The Dormitory Guys... Basically they do remakes of videos of songs by lip-syncing. But in a damn exaggerated way. Haha. Made up of 2 guys from Mainland China (not Taiwanese lah YY). One of their videos was previously shared on YY's blog and Wee found their link somehow. They've kinda made it big in China, with contracts and all.

Here's the english website
http://twochineseboys.blogspot.com
If you ain't got time to watch all, (I've to give you prior warning that loading takes awhile), what I've gotta recommend is the bloopers and the video by the title of "Fairytale". Half of this video is a remake of Guang Liang's Tong Hua, and the later half is actually a failed attempt to remake SHE's songs. This is the damn farnie part. They tried to rope in a friend for ths video as we all know SHE consists of three members. In the video of "Fen Kai Lu Xing", this guy from behind was actually half naked, complete with a boxer brief (means it's the tight fitting one). Many funny episodes got me laughing like crazy!

Their Chinese website
http://blog.sina.com.cn/m/housheboy
but it's not updated very frequently

Their full updates, news and all about them
http://edu.sina.com.cn/y/focus/housheboy/index.shtml

Ok i spent my whole night watching their videos... haha crazy! I think it would occur boh liao to some people... but oh what the hack, as long as it makes me laugh!

P.S to view chinese words on my blog use the encoding Unicode.

The Characteristics

I've been hooked on <我叫金三顺>(My Name is Kim Sam Soon) recently, after "Full House". I think I love to watch Korean dramas, thou they are abit typical haha but those that I love to watch are those that are mixed with a little comedy, not those typical sorrowful ones that are supposed to make u cry buckets, well except for Summer Scent. I don't really fancy Winter Sonata and Autumn in my heart. I mean... How can I resist the hunky male leads in the K dramas.... From the earliest Jang Dong Gun to Song Seong Heon to Jang Hyuk to Jo In Sung to Rain and then lately Hyun Bin.... And of cos the melodic K songs of all the drama also makes me fall head over heels for it, the songs are usually very apt for the particular drama and I can tell you Korea songs are damn nice eventhough I don't understand a single word!

Jang Dong Gun (Top) and Song Seong Heon (Bottom).
From the pix, you can more or less know the kinda guy that I look for, they all have the manly look yet hidden boyish nature. And when they smile, they have the boy-next-door look, especially the latter 4...

But I can't find cute pixs of them flahing their boyish grin, you'll probably only spot them in the shows. And most of them when they smile, all you can see is their pearly grin and the eyes will merge to form a line haha so cute rite??
Especially Rain (right), who's known for his famous cutesy smile!

It's just coincidental that Jo In Sung (left) and Jang Hyuk (further left) has blonde hair in these pixs, it doesn't mean I like blokes. Anyways not all guys look gd in this hair. I think it's gotta do with the looks. Haha

ok I decided not to use the full pix of the guys cos their bods will only make you and erhem me drool more... Yes yes, these guys all have very good build... Once again I would like to emphasize good build doesn't just mean "dua jiak", it means lean but mascular! Oh oh and tall too theses guys are like 180cm and above, that's why they look good in whatever they wear, born clothes hanger. And I tell you K drama lead males don't go for the typical t-shirt jeans look, but very mismatched and loud combination of different color of shirts and pants as well as jackets with jeans, which strikes me fatally! They can wear very flowery pink shirt beneath a white jacket and matches it with jeans, but it looks totally good!
But this is the nicest pix of Hyun Bin I manage to googled, slightly uncovered. Both him and Rain have achieved such great accomplishment in their acting and singing career respectively and know what, they are only 1 yr my senior!! haizzzz

Except for the 1st 2 who usually play they devoted-til-i-die kinda character, the rest usually portray the characters of rich spoilt brat, who comes from some respectable family and are to some extent, bad boys. Yes 男人不坏,女人不爱. I never disputed this phrase. But when it comes to someone they love, they really go all out for her even though not in the totally nice way that most gals would like. And they can get pretty nasty.

So after all the introduction, you know what kinda guys I go for... erhem if you happen to come across any of such guys, please lemme know haha. I know you'll say you'll grab first... but I realise not all girls for the same type of guys. I mean I have a friend who like skinny and nua nua type of pretty boy, someone like perhaps zai zai. And she doesn't like tall guys. So absolutely no conflict of interest here.

Ok so this leads on the tag that I was tagged... hmm sounds weird. Anyways I'm supposed to come up with 8 characteristics of my perfect lover and tag 8 ple to join this "game". I shall skip the 2nd part since I never like to forward chain emails and sms. This works in the same way. It shall stop here. But I thought this topic was kinda interesting so I'll blog on it. But I'm not gonna stick to the rules closely, but instead incorporate into my own entry.

Alright, it's not difficult to actually pick out like 4 characteristics from the above K guys.
Some quick recap:
  1. Manly, with a mix of boyish nature.
  2. Good build. Please recall my definition of a good build.
  3. Good height. For me, at least 175cm
  4. Not necessarily a nasty spoilt brat or baddie but definitely not a goody-two-shoe, who listens and obeys me totally or tries to please me to the ultimate.
Ok so these are some of the more superficial criteria based on the outlooks. Actually my guy doesn't have to be exactly dashing or georgeous. If you look closely enough at the 6 above, not all are exactly good looking. But there's just something about them. Charisma or behaviour or something that truely captures me. I mean someone with the looks of Wong Hei (Wang Xi) is good enough as long as generally, everything adds up and that will make him look good... Oh oh and maybe just to add on to the list, I love guys with funky hair! Haha I mean doesn't have to be a punk head to be called funky... but u know the toot toot and hmm plain hairstly just doesn't work for me. But again, funky hair also doesn't work on all people, I guess it's gotta do with the looks AGAIN. haha

Let's move on to the less physical but more of chemisty part.
  1. Sporty. Ok this definitely leads to the above point 2, though being sporty doesnt always equate good build. I'm not a sporty person I have to admit but I love sports actually I don't mind going under the sun and sweat out, it's just that I'm lazy haha. I used to play more sports, now I think I really to get that stamina and momentum back. And also because I love to watch soccer, being sporty actually encompasses playing soccer (or basketball also can lah haha). I mean this is not something difficult since most guys love or watch soccer. Hey it isn't too easy to find a gf who watches soccer with you without any complains and who understand the offside rule ok. And best cheer together if we happen to support the same team. :D or quarrel when the teams we support versus each other. Adds abit of spice to life.
  2. Talented. In any area. But best musically inclined, with singing or musical instruments. Did I mention that I think guys who play the drum well are especially attractive? Electric guitar too. Piano is abit too common but it depends on who the guys is haha. Singing is good so we can KTV and duet together haha.
I believe 2 person must share the same interest to have chemistry. People say opposite attracts but it never happens to me. If we are not on par and have different characters and have different passion, I can't imagine how we get along. And also something for me to admire him about haha. But of cos there must be somthing about the guy apart from physical attraction and being on the same frequency. And I guess these are things that you'll probably find out only when you know the guy more or perhaps only when you start a relationship.
  1. He has to be humourous yet serious. This kinda sounds like manly yet boyish. Haha He has to have the ability to make me smile, laugh but yet can't be so playful such that I think he's not serious on what he says. So, serious on things that he needs to and yet inject humour in everyday life. Kinda hard to exlplain yah...
  2. At least the maturity level has to be there. So basically this would also mean that we have to have the same level of thinking and views in life. Basically a balance of everything and it actually encompass alotta things. I've experienced someone who has different view of life as I do and I think that is the ultimate. Regardless of how nice and sweet he is, if he doesn't think as far/much as me, then basically it hard to communicate on matters of lfie. And I do not just mean normal communication but the more in depth conversations.
  3. Sense of security is particularly important to me. Especially I can feel rather insecure at times. This doesn't mean he has to be physically there everytime, but I think knowing that the he is there for me as a pillar of strength is good enough and in fact very important. After all I'm not the kinda sticky gal who needs to see him every day or track him down with hourly calls.
  4. I actually prefer guys who are abit of a male chauvinistic. I have no qualms about the ability of guys and I never thought it's possible for equality between guys and gals. There are just some things that guys can and gals cannot achieve and of cos vice versa. Ok the reason behind this preference is cos I have a rather strong character so I need someone who can curb me. A guy who can lead me and to be the decision maker, although I want my decisions and suggestions to be respected too. Which is why I say abit of chauvinism, which is still bearable. In fact I can't stand guys who obey their gals too much, that would mean they don't have a mind of their own. And eventually as the gal take things for granted, the episode never ends well.
  5. Lastly he has to be understanding and supportive. That includes no jealousy. Of cos on my part I have to reassure him but being understanding makes this alot easier. Especially when I do have quite a fair share of male close friends.
Accept me for who I am and I would do the same. Never try to change your guy. If he's not the right one just don't go for him. Some things just cannot be changed, and even when changed, it would come back to haunt you one day. Having said that, all the above might be criterias to be fulfilled but there's nothing perfect in life. I may be a perfectionist (the trait of a virgo) and I can't accept the slightest flaw, at least a flaw to me, but when the right one comes, who knows. Like I always say, I'm looking for MY perfect guy and not THE perfect guy. Therein lies the difference.

And some of you do know, I have a personal fetish for lefty haha

Sweet V

Sky cleared. Think I sort out my thoughts a lil. And it's a good feeling, to feel happy and relaxed again. I think it's all up there. :D

See i'm supposed to blog but procrastinate again.... haha was surfing for something/someone and to my surprise I chanced upon a blog of that someone hahaha. Happily reading it, good thing it's a new blog didn't have too many entries.

Was out on the street in town yesterday, and needless to say there are couples everywhere from the young teenagers to the uncles and their Mainland girlfriends/mistresses. And I couldn't contain my laughter once i reached town.... I think it's so cliche to see everyone holding roses. And I tot it was very farnie to see some guys holding flowers, they are on their way to meet their dates, but seriously, walking around with a stalk/bouquet of flowers in their hands make them look stupid. Later at night when I was strolling down the street to get a drink, I saw this couple with the girl holding a cute little bouquet and the guy who looks very very cool, (score 7 haha) and I just burst out into laughters cos I imagined him with the flowers before the gf arrived. I mean a cool dude w a bunch of cute flowers... funny combination. And another funny sight was some of the younger couples, or should I call them kids, holding just one or 2 stalks of flowers. So u see, the kids still can't afford tt much lah... haha So the kinda of flowers I observed, mainly roses.. boring... mixed with some other flowers and then there was one i saw with a bouquet of Ferrero Roche, at least slightly more creative but there were like only 10 stalks, doesn't look good. The most creative one had to be a bouquet of small little pigs... It was from Mr. Beng to Miss Lian, so afterall it's the bengs that think out of the box. I just find it awkward and funny to see people holding flowers on V day, me myself too. I dunno, perhaps because everyone else is holding it.... I would actually be more "wah" to see a gal holding a bouquet on any other day other than V day. Oh but being the newly emerged materialistic gal as HL has demonstrated (oops haha) we'll prolly be more interested and brighten up *blink blink* (eyes open widely) if the roses were folded from 50 dollar notes, can throw in 10 dollar notes to add more colour and variety. Haha

Pretty sweet of CY's frens(I still dunno thier names haha I don't think you do too) to get us flowers. Ironically we were the ones who ended up walking around with the stalks of flowers, but I guess the drinking and talking just between us after that came as a form of relief to me. And I really hope we can achieve what we want haha don't forget the opening, the sample haha oh and the bet!! Let's drink and chat along the streets if Paris!!

Oops I'm not doing the tag again... procrastinate.....

One in 8 Million

Not Me!!

I didn't strike the 10 Million Dollar ToTo!!

I'm not one of the 9 Winners!!

I'm not the ONE!!

Y isn't it me?!

Even if I had won a Million,

I can spit right in the face of the bitches and quit my job,

I can travel for as long as I like,

I can study abroad,

I can pay off my car loan,

I can provide for my family,

I can be a happier person!

Bubble burst, million dollar dream shattered,

SO...

I have to put up with all the shit at work,

I have to work my ass off to pay my car loan,

I have to be stuck in this goddamn so called Sunny Island,

I have to dream on about living and studying abroad,

Eventhough I can still be a happy person,

I just have to try a bit harder.

Me, Myself & I

I discovered by chance that this happens to my 100th post.... But it's not gonna be something happening nor interesting. See I've run out of interesting things to blog on and I simply lack the discipline to blog religiously.... Perhaps that's the sad life of being a young working adult. I'm not trying to say that my life is boring just because of work, I try to make spice up my life by after-work activites and weekend hang outs (which KTV makes up a large 70%). And sadly, I've been bogged by some disease which I've never really recovered since... So I'm constantly sick... You probably can figure it out when u join me for KTV... See I'm on MC today that's why I'm blogging... haha. I was rather sickly when young but it wasn't this bad. I guess it has to do with my job, since I'm out on the field everyday visiting clinics... that's where all the germs and viruses are abundant.

Work has not been easy, I think most graduates who just started out agree with me. We are all caught in that phase of life, not wanting to move on and move outta our comfort zone which we have sought shelter for the past 2 decades. Looking for the right job, the most suitable job, the job we most want, but yet not knowing anything.... And sometimes you won't know until u've got into it. And sometimes it's a matter of adapting. My manager has told me that the 1st 3 mths into the job is the hardest time, and you'll only start to enjoy after 6 mths. My frens have been in their job of 6mths and not enjoying it. Does that mean they'll never like it? I don't have an answer too. Everyone wants to have a carefree life and do what they really like and enjoy, but the harsh reality of life forbids that. STRESS is the main issue. And of cos people u work with...

There are some friends I thought will last for life, but I realise the feeling has changed. Things have changed I guess, so do people. I don't know if it's myself or what. I'm glad I have made very close friends recently and they are now the new people in my life whom I count on and hang out with. I really enjoy their company, but it only makes me realise that I'm beginning to lose some close friends as well. Never mind about that, cos we all move on, and we all have different lives to lead. Now I know why most parents never have any close friends cos they lose them along the way, after leaving school, after marriage. I hope I won't become like that...

I know I've been tagged, the second time to be exact but I haven't really sat down and do it, I think I'll leave it for V day. Sounds more appropriate.

I'm hungry. I'm drowsy. Another piece of incoherent writing. I promise something better. In the pipeline. I'm gettin some sleep....
